Don't you just hate beggars!

CBFiles has seen substantial increases in the cost of it's hosting over the past year or so, we have served over 2 Terrabytes of data since the start and this has not come cheaply.

We will NEVER charge for membership, downloads or access to members areas and try and keep adverts to a minimum.

What we do ask, and only if you can afford it and are happy to do so, is that you donate a small amount towards to continued server costs.

A Paypal donation box has been added to the menu on the left and every penny will go towards keeping this site running.

Your help is very much appreceated but is in no way mandatory.

Thank you.

Opps!!!

To the first 25 people who tried to download Ted Cooks updated Comper Swift G-ABUU, My aplogies!!!

I somehow managed to publish just the thumbnail. Its now fixed and the

full aircraft is now in place. Sorry for that, accidents happen occasionally. Also you may wish to replace the included sound files with the resident Spirit of St Louis sounds.

Again - my apologies,

Leif

Latest from Dave Molyneaux's Hangar

Stop Press!!!!!

Dave Molyneaux's Auster Autocrat for Fs9

is now available in the New Download section

Get em while they are hot!!!!! ;)

The Auster Has returned!!!

Some of you may have noticed emphasis on Austers recently - The scenery for Rearsby, the reissue of Bjorn Buchner's  fine Auster Mk5 ,Peter Watkins' repaints of it. And veiled references by me about "If you build it, they will come". I'm pleased to announce Dave Molyneaux and Brian Horsey have worked their magic, and the Auster Autocrat for Fs9 is currently in Beta testing.  Thanks in no small part to the likes of Brian Gibbs, Keith Paine and Martin Pengelly (hope I spelt that correctly Martin!) The Autocrat will be a wonderful addition to eveyones hangar - And hopefully the begining of a line of Auster models for Fs9. Peter Watkins has something over a hundred colour photos of Auster Autocrats lined up so the selection will be very large, and DOnt worry all you folks in the Antipodes, he has your repaints as well. As usual Don Putnam's sound files will be used to give that Cirrus or Gypsy Major touch. The Model has an incredible VC for such a simple aircraft and thanks to Brian Horsey flies like the real thing.  Thank you David, Brian et al. for providing us with such a wonderful gift .

Here's a little taster of whats coming - Just hang around the Pond and it will bob to the surface presently.
